brighton charm bracelet

Last Christmas, I was puzzled about what to get my mom for a gift.  I remembered that she mentioned having a charm bracelet as a girl, and she didn’t know what happened to it.  So I went downtown to a little boutique, and I bought her a Brighton bracelet with three charms to start: her birthstone, a bead that said “grandmother” on it from her new grandson, and a fleur de lis in honor of her 2011 trip to France.

On Valentine’s Day, a Brighton bracelet landed onto my wrist.  My mom wanted to share in charm-gathering.

Brighton has a cool website where you can play around with Charm Builder, making “dream" bracelets.  I just designed this one, with mostly beads and a floral theme:

And then I chose beads and charms for a Christmas bracelet:

Just to show you, there are many different charm ideas like sports, hobbies, U.S. states, letters, even  tiny little picture frames:

And a look at my real bracelet:

Brighton is more affordable than Pandora or Chamilia.  And no, they’re not sponsoring me to write this, I just thought you might need a Christmas idea for the women in your life!

  1. What a great idea! Once upon a time I worked for an office who gave us a choice for Christmas: a Brighton gift certificate or a massage gift certificate. I chose the massage and totally regret it! I will have to keep this in mind for me AND my mom! - Brianna

  2. My mom has a pandora bracelet, but isn't picky about the beads, thanks for the tips on pricing. Myabe Il get her some fo these!

  3. Very interesting blog, looking forward to more wonderful! Pandora outlet

  4. Well I love the way that jeweler shows their unique craftsmanship and artistry with such a nice finishing. Even I have a name bracelet in my wardrobe
