I’ve been so excited to share Ephraim’s birth announcement, but I wanted to make sure our family & friends got it in the mail first :) We took these photos at home when he was eleven days old, and I finished the design a few days later.
The back.
When Nolan was born, I bought his announcements from Shutterfly. They were nearly $100. This time, I had my design printed from an online company for under $30! They turned out beautifully—the photos are clear, and the cardstock is a smooth matte finish.
And for comparison’s sake, this is Nolan’s announcement (on the left)) from 2011. Our babies look a lot alike!

Birth announcements can be so expensive! That's awesome you found a better place to print and they turned out awesome! What an adorable little guy :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! What company did you use?
ReplyDeletePrecious!! Absolutely precious:)
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful! Your little boys are so lucky they are going to have so many beautiful keep sakes and photographs thanks to their momma! You can never take too many pictures! And 30 bucks what a deal!

These annoucements are great! And I love that you did them yourself and saved a bundle! When Xavier was born we did the same thing. I found a photo that my mom took of him the day he came home from the hospital and I loved it! I just used that and had them printed at Walmart. The quality was great and they were super cheap! Now I use Walmart for all my photo printing.
ReplyDeleteAww cute. I like your announcements better- layout wise. Rachel
ReplyDeleteWhat company did you use? Love the layout of the ones you did as they prominently feature your little baby!
ReplyDeleteOh my word. How perfect is he!!!!!
