what i wore wednesday

I wore this simple jeans and tee outfit to our last MOPS meeting of the year, yesterday. It’s kind of a stretch for me to get showered and out of the house by 9:30, so I was thankful to have such an easy outfit in my closet. I added some shiny accessories with my earrings, necklace, and bangles. Then I swallowed some bites of granola and rushed out into the 80 degree weather. Oh, and if you never see me do another outfit post again, it’s because my hair has all fallen out due to post-partum hormones. Anyone else feel me on that? :)

Tee: Merona Vintage V-Neck at Target
Jeans: American Eagle
Sandals: Yuu at JCPenney

This is me trying to decipher if the flying creatures above us were birds or bats. Steve and I have had the same conversation every night when we see the same ones cavorting in the sky, and we just can’t tell. We do know that we have bats as (attic) housemates. Yikes!

  7. You look fabulous my dear! Absolutely fabulous! I just cut all of my hair off because of the wonderful postpartum fall out :( Very hard day (Mine was just as long as yours). Also, curious - are those earrings from One Little Mama/Belt? I have the same pair if they are!

Does your MOPS not serve breakfast? I hate it when I forget and then eat before we leave and get there and eat again ha!

  11. Ah, yes. One of my favorite go-to's. There's something really special about a gray tee and jeans and a few accessories. Simple yet put together.

  17. Totally feel you on the hair loss postpartum. I remember being really worried for a bit because it felt like I was losing so much!!! I also love your outfit. I think sometimes I am always trying to come up with the "perfect" outfit and forget the simplest ones are often the best.
