We had a pretty dusting of white snow yesterday morning, and it officially feels like December. The Christmas lights are brightening up the darkening days, and we are venturing outside less and less. Winter isn't my favorite season, but I definitely believe that you have to make the most of it! On Monday, I found some good deals online and stocked up on cozy outdoor wear for us. We'll find ways to stay warm, and the coffeepot won't get a break until spring :) Here are a few of my favorites from this week that flew by!
These are my two favorite photos of the week! I pulled out my portrait lens, and I love being able to capture the intricacies of their beautiful brown and blue eyes :) My baby in his Santa jammies--the sweetest!
We took Nolan and Ephraim to their very first movie-- The Peanuts Movie! They were so excited, and they really had no idea what to expect of the theater.
MorMor and Papa Don gifted us with the tickets, and their presence!
He was ENAMORED with the big screen. For all of the previews and most of the movie, he sat completely still and just stared!
We thought Peanuts was adorable! Nolan did a lot of laughing out loud. The movie kept the boys' attention until almost the end. The animation was perfect, and I'm sure we'll be renting or buying it when it comes out.
If you missed my post yesterday, I shared our home decorated for Christmas! I really enjoyed mixing our traditional pieces with a few new ones! We spend the majority of our day in the living room, and now it's so pretty and ambient with all of the colors and lights.
There's still time to enter my Chris Tomlin "Adore" album giveaway! It's a collection of beautiful Christmas songs, and you must hear "Noel" featuring Lauren Daigle! Click here to go back to that post and enter the drawing.
On Wednesday, I compiled a list of some of my favorite Christmas desserts and sweet things. If you're looking for something new to make this month, check my recipes!
