Summer is my favorite season, hands down. There is so much beauty to be found outside - everything is growing and green and blooming. And the boys just seem HAPPIER. Everyone is happier.
The boys' spring soccer season wrapped up the first week of June. Nolan was on a team with his cousin, and Ephraim played on a team with all new kids. They both had a lot of fun!
Sleeping through all the games!
Taking a nap on me after her first big morning at church!
My favorite view :)
Of the three boys, Nolan is the most interested in her! He's a big help to me.
Banana bread mornings.
When the weather is warm, all we can think about is ice cream!
Memorial Day in her patriotic colors!
When I first started my blog when Nolan was a baby, I got connected with Hannah who lives in Texas. She, too, was blogging about life with her little son. Hannah and her family came through Indy this summer, and we got to meet for the first time! Now, we both have baby girls! :) We had a really nice time at the Children's Museum!
The boys were pumped to see the Paw Patrol exhibit!
Little lemon girl.
I transplanted a peony bush last summer, but it didn't grow much this year, so I bought these beauties from Trader Joe's.
ONE MONTH OLD. At the doctor, she weighed 9lbs 4 oz - a big gain from her 6lbs 11 oz at birth! I was induced because the doctor thought she might be too tiny, and after one month, she was in the 50th percentile!
Junia's first time at the strawberry fields!
The strawberry season is quite short, so I'm glad we were able to pick this year! We came home with several delicious pounds that were gone in just a few days :)
In June, the sun was staying up until almost 10, so we had plenty of late nights with boys who "couldn't fall asleep"!
Father's Day with the best of them!
We learned to make s'mores in the broiler to get that perfectly browned top :)
We went to Midsommar at the Swedish club, danced around the Maypole for the first time, and ate our fill of sweet desserts.
Tiny Cubs fan!
These photos of the boys holding her are such treasures to me!
Some days (most days), we just have to get outside and walk around the block!
We spent two weeks of June with a lingering virus of the sore throat/pink eye variety. . . thankfully Junia never got sick (yay breastmilk!) I was disappointed about being sick during my favorite month of the year, but excited to get on with the rest of our summer!
