1. Nolan’s New Tricycle!

My mom and Don bought Nolan a little red Radio Flyer trike for his birthday! He loves it and gets really excited every time he sees it. Yesterday, he was super sick with a fever and head-cold, but that didn’t stop him from riding it around inside the house a few times :)

Little brother is happy too (since the trike will be his someday :)
  
2.  Duplo Hamburgers


After we bought the Duplo ice cream set for Nolan a few months ago, we had our eyes on the Duplo hamburger set as well. I was so happy to find it on clearance at Walmart a couple weeks ago! These are the kind of building toys that I get can get excited about. You can make hamburgers, ham sandwiches, a ketchup bottle, milk carton, carrot, pear, tomato, and grapes. Ephraim wants to play too—or at least stick them in his mouth. :)

3. MOPS Started Up!

Tuesday, we had our first MOPS meeting of the year, and it was SO good to see everyone again! I’ve made some great friends through the group, and I can’t wait to see how we’ll grow together in the coming year.

4. Mom’s Night Out

 
I posted about Mom’s Night Out yesterday—it’s a must see! Steve and I really enjoyed it. It’s so funny and so true to parenthood!

5. Makeup Brushes

With a recommendation from Maskcara, I asked for these Real Techniques brushes for my birthday. I thought that all makeup brushes were created equal, so I was making do with freebies I’d collected in the past. But these brushes are so soft and full, and I can seriously put blush, bronzer, or eyeshadow on in a fraction of the time it was taking me before. They’re so nice!
