based on looks that I liked on Pinterest.

Inspiration #1:


Top: Target // Sequin dress: Target // Sandals: Crocs Sexi Flip

I have been loving outfits with glitter/sequins lately! And I feel so comfortable in this outfit.

 

Inspiration #2:

I had a different inspiration photo for this outfit, but I strayed a bit too far from it. So instead, this color palette below shows the BRIGHTS that I love having in my summer wardrobe.

This is pretty much my every-day-summer look:


Neon Tee: Target (similar) // Denim shorts: jcp (similar) //  Sandals: Crocs A-Leigh Mini Wedge // Necklace: Lia Sophia

If I find shorts, pants, or shirts that I like—I end up getting them in more than one color. I have three colors of these shorts, and four colors of the tee!

My mom got me these sandals for Mother’s Day. (Thanks, Mom!) As you may have noticed, I do love Crocs. Their size 11s always fit me well, they’re affordable, last for years, and they are comfortable all day long.

I saw this photo, and realized I had a very similar dress that I bought last summer for my friend Emily’s wedding! It was perfect since she had a nautical theme.

    Sequins, bright colors and wedges?!?! That makes me so happy! I loved all of your looks...but the sequin dress was probably my favorite :). I love a girl who wears sequins!

    Those croc sandals are actually super cute and look really comfortable! I am pretty sure as long as they don't look like these- http://www.bargainbininvesting.com/images/crocs.jpg - crocs are perfectly acceptable in public. The whole your neon outfit is so happy. :)

      thanks! yeah my original Crocs have been put away. they are still good for walking/gardening though!

    My favorite look is your 3rd outfit. I can't believe you found that dress at TJ Max; I have never had good luck finding stuff there, but I know lots of people who do! Great look!

      thanks Jen! I have trouble finding gems at TJ Maxx as well... mostly now because Nolan doesn't have the patience to wait for me to try on something in the dressing room ;)

    Each month I am so inspired by your inspiration posts!! I love seeing your posts about pin-spired and also having an excuse to spend a lovely amount of time reading posts that I have bookmarked to come back to and read from the past couple of weeks! I just read about the decision of moving y'all are having to make and I will definitely be praying!! Also... and I am almost embarrassed to admit this but is this a new blog design?? IF NOT...
