what i wore wednesday

I finally found the time to go through my closet, my dresser, and a couple of Rubbermaid bins of clothes in the attic. If I found an item that I was uncertain about, I would ask, “Would I care if I never saw this again?” I ended up with two, full white garbage bags to give away or sell. What a good feeling to get rid of so much! This shirt was tucked away in a Rubbermaid bin, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep it. It’s not quite as long as I would like. But oh, the colors! Orange and purple plaid just scream autumn. The shirt will have to stick around for at least another year. Honestly, I don’t think Steve would mind if I had a closet full of plaids. :) My mom bought this scarf for me when she went to France during the summer I was pregnant with Nolan. It’s light, gauzy, and it’s my only solid color scarf, so it goes perfectly with the patterned button-down.

Today’s a super exciting day in that it’s the birth day of our new nephew or niece! Can’t wait to hear the news this afternoon :)
