On Saturday, Uncle Josh came home and the boys were so excited to see him after three months! We dyed Easter eggs with vibrant colors and later put our feet up to watch, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”. Stephen and Josh grew up watching the flick from 1954, but I had never seen it. The best part of the movie? One of the brothers is Ephraim, and they pronounce it like our EE—frem :)
The next morning, when Nolan came into our room to wake us up, I told him it was Easter and he jumped up and down with excitement. We went downstairs, and the boys rummaged through their Easter baskets to find all of the good things inside. I’ve said this before: Nolan is so fun this year (age 3) since he can grasp the holidays so much better! He sees everything with new eyes, and you can watch his little mind working as he thinks about the Easter Bunny or Jesus the “King in the really big castle in Heaven”. And Ephraim? Well, Ephraim loves pulling the green paper Easter grass out of his basket and stealing his brothers toys. He’s a simple little guy :)
