oreo cream cheese pudding

oreo cream cheese pudding
If you’re a fan of Oreos (aren’t most people?), you’ll want to dunk this into a mug of cold milk and not stop until it’s finished. Let me put it this way: Steve has almost single-handedly eaten this entire bowl full of what he lovingly refers to as “Oreo pudding on steroids.”

Ingredients:
1 stick butter, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered (confectioners') sugar
2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
3 1/2 cups milk
12 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
28 ounces chocolate sandwich cookies with cream filling (2 bags of Oreos: I used regular ones, but it would be super easy to use mint, chocolate, peanut butter, or strawberry ones to throw in more taste.)

Directions:
Put the cookies (with cream still inside) through a food processor until they’re chopped up very finely.

Mix together butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a large bowl. (Make sure they’re blended well.)

In a second bowl, mix the vanilla pudding, milk, and whipped topping.

Then, combine the cream cheese mixture with the pudding mixture.

Layer in a trifle bowl, starting with cookie crumbs, then cream mixture. Repeat layers. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Mmm! Enjoy!
