Happy ONE month to our Ephraim Luke (on Friday)! This month has flown by, and we’re definitely getting into the swing of things with our fourth family member. He has stolen our hearts!
Weight: 9 pounds 6 ounces (has gained 2 lbs, 6 oz!)
Length: 21.5 inches
Eating: Nursing exclusively—about every 2 hours during the day, every 3 hours at night. He loves eating and is not really sure what to do when he’s not eating. He also spits up a lot because I think he eats more than his tummy can hold. :)
Bedtime: Around 11 pm (longest stretch of sleep was 4 hours so far)
Awake: Around 8 am. The mornings are a little rough because Nolan and the dog are waking up really early while the baby is still sleeping, and Steve and I are exhausted. We need to work on going to bed earlier and getting our sleep schedules more in sync.
Naps: He sleeps in between each feeding (mostly in my arms, sometimes short naps in his swing).
Diapers: Newborn size. He really dislikes getting changed, and has peed on us quite a few times.
Clothes: Newborn, and 0-3 months
Favorites: Paci—unfortunately can’t hold it in for long,
Velcro swaddle blankets,
Snugli & Moby—falls asleep very easily in the carriers
Latest Tricks: Eye contact, pushes off on his feet, grabs onto my hair.
