Friday Favorites

F R I D A Y   F A V O R I T E S

Friends, I hope you've been having a great week! Mine has been really good (if you overlook the antics of a dramatic three-year-old), and I'm excited for the weekend! We have plans tonight to have hamburgers on the grill with new friends out at the lake. And then tomorrow is our first graduation party we'll attend this year :)

On to the favorites from the week . . .

Yesterday, I posted the recipe for these mini double-chocolate donuts! I think my new donut pan is going to get a lot of use this summer! These donuts are almost the texture of chocolate cake (but better) and they're made from scratch, so I don't have guilt popping one or two in my mouth! :)

For Christmas, I asked Steve if we could get a canvas of one of our wedding photos. It took us a long time to finally get to choosing a photo and placing the order. We've never displayed bigger than a 5x7 wedding photo in our house, so having a 16x20 is so fun! I think it will be the start of a gallery wall in our living room :)  (We ordered the canvas from CanvasPeople.com, and our experience was great!)

I've been listening to Hillsong United's new album "EMPIRES" every day this week! It is really chill, beautiful worship music. If you're interested in winning a copy, head on over to my post from Wednesday!

On Monday, I shared about the hair products that I use. I've come to depend so much on the blog world for recommendations on hair and makeup. I have found some great products this way! I wish there was some way to try all kinds of shampoos, conditioners, and hair sprays without investing a ton of money. I'm sure there are some great ones out there for long, straight hair that I don't know about yet!

If you're ever on the lookout for a GREAT toy for a one-year-old, I have to recommend this Playskool Ball Popper. Both of my boys have LOVED this ball popper, and it can keep their attention so much better than other toys. They get excited to wait for the balls to unexpectedly pop up, it keeps them active running to pick up the ones that roll away, and it's one of the only toys that I could even enjoy as an adult :)  There's a cute pink and purple one out there too for girls!

Hope you all have an amazing last weekend of May!!

  1. You had me at the Dove chocolates. Have you tried the ones with dark chocolate? And with almonds?
