My favorite photos from the past year:
Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Indianapolis a year ago.
I love pictures of Nolan sleeping. There is nothing sweeter or more angelic.
We went to see Punxsutawney Phil on Groundhog’s Day.
Visiting the memorial where Flight 93 went down on September 11, 2001.
Easter.
Cousins on Easter weekend.
Nolan never falls asleep on me—probably hasn’t since this sweet moment.
May 24th—The amazing day we found out about Baby #2!!
A trip to the zoo in June.
Celebrating 4 years of marriage on June 13!
Meeting up with my family in Indiana. We found out at this cupcake store that my cousin Lindsay and her husband Chris are expecting their first baby on January 19th! (We kept it a secret that we are due 9 days after them!)
A special trip to Michigan to see my college girl friends.
Fake-drinking my glass to keep my secret. So happy that Mona (far left) got pregnant soon after and is due with a baby boy in March!
We had a wonderful week of family camp with Steve’s family in New York!
Remembering our first kiss on this rowboat in 2007.
Probably my favorite photo of the whole year—announcing our pregnancy in July!
Over the summer, we moved to a new town (an hour away). We have SO enjoyed living in a house—having plenty of space and storage—and a yard!
My birthday in August.
Nolan’s turned two, and we had a blast at his train party!
In September, we found out that Baby #2 is a BOY!
First trip to a pumpkin patch.
Halloween :)
Thanksgiving morning with sweet cousins.
2013 was definitely good for the three of us. I am sad to see it end, but I can’t wait for the new beginnings of 2014—especially because of the little life who will be joining us soon! The rest of the year, at this point, is a blank slate to be filled. Today I hope to get some time to sit down and make lists, goals, and prayers for my new year. :)
What kinds of resolutions are you making?
Great photos! I can't get over how much Nolan has grown this past year! Too cute! Hope you have a wonderful new year :)
ReplyDeleteThat picture from the day you found out you were expecting #2 is basically the sweetest thing I've ever seen.Your smiles!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!! :)
The word colic, often unknown to new parents can be a scary reality when it's aimed at your child. What is colic and how should we handle it? Is there anything we can do about it?
