We’ve had a busy few days celebrating with both sides of the family. We are blessed now to live only 10 minutes from my mom’s house, and only about 30 seconds from my in-laws’ house—so we try to spend our time equally between them.
Nolan was so excited to receive a Larrymobile from Mommy and Daddy—with Alfred & LarryBoy inside :)
I made cookie mix jars to give as gifts—something I’ve always wanted to do. I kept one for myself, and I’m excited to try out the recipe.
My mom baked these Christmas sugar cookies, and I helped decorate. The colors turned out much more vibrant than the ones we’ve iced in the past.
Dinner on Christmas Eve before church. My mom made ham, sweet potatoes, corn, rice pudding, and magic cookie bars. So delicious!
A little eggnog.
My stepsister Shari, her husband, and daughter came from Minnesota last night! It was so great to finally meet this sweet 9-month-old!
Enjoying one of the sugar cookies. It’s shaped like a gingerbread man, but he kept calling it his snowman.
Only Daddy makes him laugh like this ;)
Cuties posing by the tree.
We have more family coming into town tomorrow—so there will be plenty of activity and excitement here.
I hope you enjoy your weekend!!
